"01-06-2024, First time here!! Nice place, well designed field layouts, good conditioned greens, very kind staffs, nice bunker designs, only 20 min from NJ. Definitely, I would come back."

"Very nice, low key park. The main problem with this park is there is a NYPD shooting range across the bay. This means it is never peaceful. As you try for a nice peaceful walk, it will be inundated with sounds of automatic weapons and gunfire as if you are running through a battle zone. It can be very disturbing. You can have barbecues in the picnic area. There are tennis courts, a dog park, a very nice park for all age children with an attached basketball court and bathrooms. It is kept clean and attended by the nyc parks department. There are softball/baseball areas and very close to city island."

"I enjoyed Pelham Bay Park. I went on the trails on Hunter Island and visited Glovers Rock. The trails were interesting and scenic. The park was quiet and peaceful during this time of year."

"One of the biggest park in the city of New York lots of tree and still very green, the only thing most people don’t dispose their garbage properly. Workers always tried to do there job properly, thanks to that."

"Wow! Where has this very large public park been hidden for so long?! In plain site and so easy to get to and park, an outdoor day of hiking and beaches and relaxing. Many Bar B Queing going on and a nice and relaxing place to visit. And enjoy a very different view of Long Island and the Bronx. Put it on your list!!"
