"I went to Clifton office for new social security card after applying on line to show the documents. When I went to window after my number, the lady asked me the purpose and I gave passports then she told me you have to go to Paterson office.I asked her and requested why I cannot submit documents here, she replied that they have shortage of staff, much work load, some people are working from home so you go to your local Paterson office. I already filled on line application and just she has to verify the documents."

"I went to this office today needing to update my information. Everyone is polite, friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. The person that processed my update is extremely friendly and quick. I was in and out in 45 minutes, expecting that it would be an all day process. Don't see why anyone would post a negative review."

"There needs to be a better system in place. I went in to get two documents scanned for an upcoming appointment. Despite simply having only two documents needing to be scanned, I had to take a ticket and wait while everyone else had life problems. I've been waiting over an hour already."

"Although best to make an appointment online, I went as a walk-in. I was greeted by thee most PROFESSIONAL OFFICERS, directed to a kiosk that printed me a ticket/number and I sat down. Metal chairs that are shaped for comfort, I sat for 3 hours and I was truly comfortable. You watch the screen that informs you about what is offered and WATCH FOR YOUR NUMBER. Wonderful people that also sat, quite a bit, sociable, not loud, very well mannered folks. DO NOT PLUG INTO THE WALL ANY PHONE/ELECTRONIC DEVICE ! Two people did this and was told very professionally by the officer to unplug/remove them. The one woman wasn't thrilled about that BUT it is for everyone's own protection/safety. You don't really know what devices wrong doers might plug in, therefore, the officers attentiveness was welcomed. This office was extremely clean, bright, not loud, restroom available in that same waiting area. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG INTO THIS AREA EITHER !! as one woman did just that. There are many negative reviews about this location but honestly (my reviews are honest) I didn't find a damn thing wrong here. Sure, there is a wait, but there are more people needing help than people working there helping. Be prepared, have patience and just get your issue taken care of."
