He researched what was needed, and he jumped through hoops to get it to us so we could submit in time. Without Jeremy’s help, we would have had to close our doors for 2 weeks and would have had to tell our employees during the holidays that they wouldn’t be working. We were able to avoid that because of Jeremy’s help. It is rare to see this type of service and extra effort, but we definitely saw it and it made a huge difference for us! "My experience working with the community associates of The Bronx Community Board 11 to resolve a situation has been both helpful and therapeutic. Jeremy was the initial community associate who I met. After relating my situation, he directed me to the city agencies who could provide assistance. Chris was the next associate I met in person. He provided a listening ear and offered a stop gap to my situation, which I made use of. Harriet was the final associate I met in person who also provided a listening ear. All three provided support in various ways. While the situation that drove me to them is not a good one, seeking their aid has given me an opportunity to discover these active, informative, and responsive people."

The employees and volunteers truly care about the community and actively work with residents, local police precinct, local elected officials, employers, etc to make the area the best it can be for all."
