"I have been calling and leaving messages for a week. I believe my husband lied to me about our marriage at this mosque. Everything was said in Arabic with no translation so I’m not sure what went down and we weren’t even registered. There is no evidence of my marriage, I have no mehar, my rent isn’t paid… I want to leave him but he won’t divorce me. If I renounce Islam, will we still be married?"
"Conveniently located mosque near United Palace in Manhattan, wuzu and restroom facilities are available. Good size prayer hall. Friday prayers are at 1:30pm."
"Small masjid. Rare to find in Washington Heights area. There is a space in the back for sisters to pray with curtains you can draw for privacy"
"This is really a small mosque! The smallest till now! Even though it is small, it’s clean! However, there is no proper wudu seats in the wudu area. Wudu seats are basin; which are really tall and makes it hard to clean the feet during the wudu and has only 1 restroom which might makes it harder. Also there’s was no soap when I went there! Brother and sisters when u go plz take soap and other necessities and donate so the mosque can improve."
