Reviews
"The adult area is overly crowded, exacerbated by rude staff. It's discourteous to insist that people squeeze in when there's ample seating in the empty teen section. Teens are occupied elsewhere, not at the library making TikTok videos. During busy times, please reassess seating arrangements to accommodate patrons who support and advocate for the library's budget reinstatement. Let's maintain access and foster a more respectful environment."
"The library is very noisy every day. Kids and parents on the second floor running and talking louder and parents are using the table to socialize with each other. There are no seats or tables for other parents. I told the staff and they told me to tell the security. Nobody does anything, the library has no control of noise, and parents talk loud or on the phone. I hope to check out this library in Parkchester on the second floor."
"This library is lovely. Not stuffy but very comfortable. It is quiet and very clean with a pleasant fragrance. The staff is also pleasant and helpful."
"I don't like the new Parkchester Library.:(it's the not same."
"This is a lovely library with a dedicated floor for kids. The youth/teen area is on the main floor. There is an elevator. Many computer stains and decks for everyone. There are usually events throughout the week. Homework and tutoring help is offered for lower grade students. Currently closed for renovation. The closest libraries are Westchester Square or Castle Hill right now."
