"Ritchie Torres and his staffers do not care about the black, brown poor and working class constituents of District 15. I called his office on numerous occasions to address issues facing our district and only was able to speak to someone once. When i did speak to someone they made me feel less than and my voice did not matter. They kept trying to dismiss my concerns, talk over me and deflect from the local issues at hand. Ritchie does not give his constituents any opportunity to honestly engage with him in a public forum, when was the last time he held a town hall for constituents? On the level of empathy, ethics and humanity, Ritchie Torres has proven himself to be morally and ethically bankrupt with his continued vocal support of genocide and apartheid. He and local democrats have lost my vote in perpetuity."
