Under the leadership of Mayor Eric Adams, we have launched the “Money in Your Pocket” initiative, targeting over 20 neighborhoods to directly deliver benefits and financial assistance to residents. This initiative is part of our broader effort to ensure that every New Yorker can thrive in our vibrant city.

Our office is actively involved in various community and citywide projects, such as lighting City Hall and other buildings in yellow to commemorate the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition. We are also proud to be part of the largest civil rights settlement in city history, aimed at eradicating housing discrimination and protecting the rights of all New Yorkers.

In addition to these initiatives, we are committed to exploring potential housing development sites on city-owned and controlled land, ensuring that New York City remains a place where everyone can find a home. We also advocate for consumer protection, exemplified by our recent lawsuit against companies that jeopardize consumer safety.
