"Terrible customer service. I called inquiring about assistance with citizenship for my aged grandmother. I was respectful and professional in my tone. I was offered no assistance rather I was told that the individual who could help is on vacation and they don't know when he will be back. Jasmine was polite but didn't help. She passed me on to a Ms. Stewart who was nasty however she gave me 2 numbers and told me to call them. I took her advice called Kevin Riley's office and received the info I needed right away!!! Mr. Heastie let your office staff know that customer service is important. Being terse and rude is not how best to serve your constituents."
"Recently I needed some information regarding a NYS regulation. I called the Speaker's office and from the moment Sandra (staff member) picked up the phone, it was apparent that she was determined to help. First she looked into the matter herself. Then she told me that she would contact the appropriate agency and call me back with more information. And she did just that - promptly! Sandra was highly capable, very pleasant and extremely helpful. A five star commendation for her efforts."
