"8 years Garfield Resident and newly in town business owner, will need to move because of parking. They consider my Acura car and my Lexus SUV company vehicle because is under my company’s name. (Garfield registered company) and they won’t give me parking. I guess is time to move, no room to grow"

"We had a wonderful experience to getting married in Garfield . The license application was easy and fast . The ceremony was at the city hall , the room is nice and spacious. Special thanks to deputy major, Mr Delaney for the great ceremony . He was easy going , kind and funny . It was definitely a 5 star."

"If you are moving to Garfield, you need to know it's a great hassle to obtain a parking permit, so be ready. How TF are you supposed to obtain a parking permit if you have just moved in, and they need: 1-proof of address (a bill with the new address that you might not get for weeks) 2- Address on Driver License MUST reflect your new address, BS now I have to go get a new license from the DMV 3-Insurance card Must have new address, also BS I have to wait for my updated insurance card to get here cuz temp card isn't enough. 4- Car registration Must also reflect new address, so I have to go to the DMV get a registration card replacement updated with the new address. If your mission is to make my life miserable, congrats you did it."

"Prime example on why I'm going to leave this city. Garfield has turned into a difficult place to live in peace. The town puts a constant stress on it's citizens with their parking bs, as well as other bs fines. It truly feels like this town is being run by the mafia and you got to watch your back, especially with the city hall. Truly curropt and disappointing to say that I come from the city of Garfield. Also you can't get anything done without taking a day off of work, and showing up at city hall. Because the phone directories only waste your time. That's what this city should be known for, being a big waste of time."

"Very disappointed from the City Clerk and from the whole City Hall! A truck from the City hit my car and broke my mirror and they did not do anything about it!!! I do not want to pay $500 deductible from my pocket, because the City Hall hit me! I drive for 3 weeks under stress on High Way and I am wondering if somebody hit me and kill or injure me who is going to take the responsibilities for that!? They do not care, but they get their celery from us - the Tax payers! Terrible service. I was asking for a rent a car and the town clerk answered me: "It doesn't work this way!" Sorry there is no options for a MINUS Star!"
