As a long time resident of Riverdale the current situation of the lack of necessary business on Kapok and knoll’s Crescent is very disturbing. many shops I knew since 1994 are no longer there. Gone is the good clean food market, Bank or local pizzeria I remember. Yet the liquor store, dry cleaners and nail salon is there but how do those serve nutritional food for the elderly, medical needs , financial services. I would think our representative is responsible for helping the constituents with basic needs and encouraging commercial companies to become a staple in the community to partner with the taxpayers and voters about what the communities need"
