"I remember being a part of this church for 8 years and being bullied, and gossiped about and dismissed when I brought it up. I remember Pastor Sam telling me that it was better to sacrifice myself for the greater good like Jesus did, than to tell the truth and make others unhappy. I remember this church as being a very dark chapter in my life. It's sad because I was so young and didn't know how to stand up for myself. And if anyone reading this is currently being bullied or belittled or gossiped about in this church or any church, I want you to know that it's okay to walk away. You don't have to stay in a place that devalues you and makes you feel horrible. You don't have to sacrifice yourself or you mental health for people that mistreat you. You are valuable and can find a place that values you. I really wish someone had told me that while I was there, but hopefully this helps someone else. I know I wasn't the only one this happened to."
"I visited this church with my wife for the first time, it was really nice. The people are warm and loving, and very welcoming. The praise and worship time was moving to the soul. The sermon was inspiring, a reminder of the importance of keeping God's word in our hearts. The pastors are friendly and greeted us kindly. From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed our time here and are going to return next Sunday, God willing."
