"Friendly and open community with wonderful Rabbi"
"Being new to Fair Lawn my wife and I had to go by what people we know as to where to go daven. So, the first Shabbat we went to Darchei Noam. Friday night all the men in Shul were welcoming, and asked who I was, where I was coming from, and where I was living in Fair Lawn. It turns out that Rabbi Donath lives in the apartment complex next to mine, so he and I walked home together. Shabbat morning my wife came to Shul also. After tefilah she told me that all the women came up to her to speak to her. At kiddush everyone made us feel at home. Coming from a small community where the Shul is very intimate, there is no adjustment we needed to make. Everyone has made us feel at home, and a part of the Shul. That is just in 2 weeks of going. In fact we were invited to the Shul dinner, and everyone was warm and wonderful. This is the place for us. B"H, we have found our new home."
