"What a lovely temple and congregation. The rabbi and cantor were wonderful. Having a service filled with music was very special. Great job with the bar mitzvah."
"I am not a Jew, but I have tremendously fond memories of this Temple. I walked to and from school past the property before, during and after the Temple was built in the fifties. Along Larchmont Avenue was a low stone wall; at the corner of Willow and Larchmont was a grand and beautiful Weeping Willow tree whose trailing fronds I could brush with my hand as I walked by. Once the Temple was built, I was entirely enhanced by the inscription above the door, and still am, to this day. Notwithstanding my atheism, it is a great instruction; I'll replace the "God" part with something like "... humbly in the knowledge that you are dependent upon the good will of others.""
"It's a lovely place of worship and a pokemon gym."
"Love the rabbi, love the Cantor, love the space and the congregation is similar to what I know and value in community. Both my sons were bar mitzvahed there and I was filled with joy at the young Jewish men they had become, thanks to their education at Larchmont Temple. The service made me cry, it was so good, and I was proud to share my temple with my extended Jewish family. I plan to be a member for as long as I live, or as long as I have a home in New York."
"Had the opportunity to speak with the congregation here and it was amazing."
