Welcome to the Hawthorne Fire Department, proudly serving the community of Hawthorne, New Jersey. Located at 828 Lafayette Avenue, our fire station is dedicated to providing exceptional emergency response services and promoting fire safety and prevention education throughout the Borough.

As a volunteer-driven organization, we invite you to explore the various ways you can contribute to and become a part of our team. Whether through Active, Social, or Junior Membership, your involvement helps us continue our mission of protecting lives and property. Our Jr. Firefighter Explorer program offers teenagers aged 14 to 18 a unique opportunity to learn about firefighting and emergency services, equipping them with valuable skills and knowledge.

Every year, fires claim thousands of lives and cause numerous injuries in the United States. At Hawthorne Fire Department, we believe that education is key to reducing these tragedies. By understanding the nature of fire and taking preventive measures, we can safeguard our community from potential hazards.
