Welcome to the Central Islip Fire Department, proudly serving the community since 1906. Located at 97 Carleton Avenue, Central Islip, New York, our dedicated team of volunteer firefighters is committed to providing top-notch fire prevention, suppression, and emergency assistance to over 30,000 residents in the Central Islip Fire District.

Our department is a vibrant and multifaceted organization, featuring a Drill Team, Ladies Auxiliary, Department Band, Junior Drill Team, and a Softball Team, all fostering community spirit and engagement. Led by a Chief and three Assistant Chiefs, our companies are expertly managed by a Captain and two Lieutenants, ensuring professional and efficient responses to alarms any time of day or night.

We are proud of our diverse membership, each bringing unique qualities that contribute to making the Central Islip Fire Department one of the finest on Long Island.
