Reviews
"They don't honor plea deals. Made a deal with the prosecutor for a no point ticket, turned out to be a 4 point ticket, and was told the best that could be done was the original 2 point ticket which I issued. I was not offered a trial, even though the US Supreme Court said back in 1971 that I have a right to withdraw my guilty plea if the punishment is different than what I agreed to with the prosecutor."
"The police are out to get you to give you tickets and the municipal court won't pick up the phone and make it difficult for me to pay the fine."
"They are thieves. The police issue tickets, the officers do not input them in the system so you are unable to pay online. They are only open for 2 hours a day which is absolutely ridiculous so unless you catch them in that 2 hour window, you can not pay over the phone. Even when you do call during that 2 hour window, they do not pick up most of the time. They are trying to make it extremely difficult to pay tickets so they can issue bench warrants and late fees to fund their jobs. The woman I spoke to after numerous calls was unbelievably rude and incompetent and trying to rush me off the phone. I've never seen a more poorly run municipal court and you should all be ashamed of yourselves."
