Reviews
"Used this station many times , especially in the morning. B Train express, easy to get a seat on the train to Manhattan and conveniently not far from Coney Island. Any other B Train stations , you may have to stand"
"Such beautiful sunsets can be seen here in the evenings. A great place to walk. And there are ducks, geese and white swans living in this bay"
"This is a very convenient station...and the only one in this area (serving Ave Z & Voorhies). Having the Q & the B is very helpful, esp during peak times, and you can still get a seat (unlike, closer stops to Manhattan). However, it is poorly maintained and needs updates. And the front of the station is dark, dreary and full of homeless folks, sadly. It doesn't feel particularly safe at night (from a woman's perspective at least). It is close to a lot of the good eateries in this area. It really needs a nice upgrade and cleaning! Taxis do stop on the "Sheepshead Bay Rd" exit and it's a quick (mostly covered) walk to several bus lines (B44 & B36)."
"Express B and local Q stop here. There are countdown clocks on the platforms and in the station entrance. E15th Street was closed off from Avenue Z to Sheepshead Bay Road a few years ago. The closure caused some connecting bus routes to change here, mainly the B36, which you now have to catch on Ave Z. The B49 and B4 are also available nearby. No elevators here but the station was rehabilitated in 1998."
"It's nice train station on the B and Q line. When i'm coming home from school though I see an old man who has set up a small fruit shop in front of the station which I think is quite strange? Whenever it rains the rain leaks into the station by going down the walls. The station is a bit dirty and needs to be cleaned up a bit. There are also lots of homeless people outside of the station. I've seen the same old lady asking me for money for years now and it's a bit strange to see; something should be done about the homeless people outside of this station."
