"This service sucks. The service staff Is very very unfriendly. We asked for information regarding our tickets, if It worked even if we stopped in Long Island and than took another boat. The man said that the ticket worked for 2 hours. But when we arrived at the second boat after visiting Long Island for 20 minutes, the service man (a boy really unfriend), said that our tickets are one way tickets, we spent ONE MINUTE buying the tickets at the machine two steps in front of the gate but the man closed the gate in our face. No words. 16 dollars for THIS SERVICE. NO WORDS."
"Great place to catch the ferry. Huge parking lot, free of charge. Plenty of seating available while you wait for your ferry. Helpful employees, announcements made regularly. Terrific views of NYC."
"One of the best options to commute around the city EXCEPT theyβre not consistent with their route announcements and schedules. Iβve hopped on the wrong ferry few times cus they dont announce neither do they have their signs on."
"Best way to explore the 5 Burroughs. Hand down. Only $4 each way for the regular service. You cannot beat that! I just wish all these ferries existed long ago, back when I could have really benefited from the service. Better late than never, eh? Things to expect: 1. Go to the 1/2/3 Wall Street stop 2. Arrive 30 minutes early if you want a seat up top during the warm days 3. Bring a sweater even for warm days because the ocean breeze can get chilly, especially at night 4. Be nice to the crew This summer I plan to explore every ferry line. Just hop on in Manhattan and see where the ferry takes me to see on the other end. For $4 bucks you just can't beat it!"
"Love it! Such a great and cheap way to travel and get fantastic views at the same time. Skip those expensive sightseeing trips and pay 2,75 $ per trip and see coney island, rockaway Island, Manhattan andr Brooklyn."
