"PROS: Drivers are always very polite and their cars are clean. Usually, the dispatcher (depending who it is on that day) is polite or trying to be even if they are super busy. This is a service that requires good word of mouth by other customers. It can increase your business significantly if people are pleased, and unfortunately, it can ruin a business if the customer is so happy or yelled at that they tell others not to use them. CONS: Dispatchers need to be more open about the amount of time that they expect it will take a car to pick you up. If there are delays or a shortage of drivers for that day, TELL THE CUSTOMER. Being a dispatcher, I can imagine, can be very stressful if you do not have enough drivers and you have people calling every 10 minutes yelling at the dispatcher. This is why it would be best for the dispatcher to be honest about what may be a long wait. You would NOT have people constantly calling being angry bc if you tell them from the beginning it will be a 30 minute wait and not say about 10 minutes (knowing it will be MORE than 10 minutes wait). CUSTOMERS: Never take out your anger at the driver. They are just trying to earn a living. And dispatchers, are like the majority of us, sometimes they just have bad days. EVERYBODY IS ENTITLED TO HAVE A BAD DAY NOW AND THEN."
"I just tried to call and inquire about a car for tomorrow and the guy couldn’t tell me how much it would be. I asked if he could find out and he said yes but then hung up on me. Didn’t take my name or number. At first he told me I’d just have to ask the driver but I’d like to know ahead of time what the price would be. I understand if you don’t know but it was unprofessional to just hang up like that. Also when he answered he was like, who is this? I was like… I need a car….? I think he even asked who I was calling! Anyway I wish I could speak to the quality of the car and ride but it doesn’t look like I will ever get to experience this from them."
"Called in for a SUV, and the dispatcher was very rude. Was told it would take 7 minutes. After waiting for more than 25 minutes I called again twice with no answer. Ended up ordering a Uber for cheaper."
"The same Latina lady has picked me up when the hospital called for me transportation to get to my appointments on time, first time she just was not there on time, second time the same lady picked me up and had either a friend or family member with her and made me miss one of my doctors appointments that I waited for a month for, sorry doesn't cut your irresponsibility to get a client on time she was suppose to pick me up at 1:45pm and didn't get to me til 2:20pm and my appointment was at 3:00pm. Now almost a month later NYU called them and paid them for a taxi/ limousine for my doctors appointment again and still wasn't on time at 1:45pm, so I called the prince taxi to see what was going on and the guy who answer's the phone told me first he called this morning, then he said he called me last night to confirm the appointment, yet NYU never told me about confirming the ride 13 hours in advance, all the lady said at NYU was be outside at 1:45pm to get the ride. Nobody should have to confirm a ride that is already paid for!"
"If I could give negative stars, I would give negative 8. My mother today 10/14/2021 had transportation ordered at 4:00 for an important medical appointment at 4:30. She was told to be outside at 4:30, she was outside at 4:25. There was no car at pickup time. She and I both called every 10 minutes and each time we received the same answer "car will be there in 10 minutes, don't worry." The medical office closes at 5:00 and because of that she had to reschedule her appointment. At 4:58 we received a message from the dispatcher to be patient, that the situation is absolutely not a problem and the car will be there in 5 minutes. Never use this car service, people who work here are unpolite, unprofessional, unhelpful, and don't understand that others' health depends on their jobs."
