"This station is usually clean and not crowded on either side. NYPD presence is at the station from time to time, However not nearly as much as the kind of police presence you would find in a much busier station like Metropolitan. The “L” line can be consistently unreliable getting into and from Manhattan at times especially on the weekends but Saturdays are the worst. On March 11, 2023 @ 7:04am the Manhattan bound L train I was on stopped just and would not depart from the last Brooklyn stop into Manhattan. Instead we were told we had to find our own way into Manhattan via bus or other transportation methods. We were offered or given a voucher or refund to continue our journey into Manhattan. Without any explanation we was asked to take the train back the other way (Brooklyn) or exit the station. This Station I give 4 stars. The L train service and reliability and transparency of NYC’s MTA company however gets 0 Stars. They flat out took my money as well as other people that day and sent us away. In the rain. And I remember so well because that day was my birthday. Make sure the L train is running before you come and don’t rely solely on this L train line’s service."
"No elevator or escalator at the station. Seating available."
"The subway stop is disgusting and filthy. Today I talked to an employee at the MTA responsible for cleaning the station and he told me that his supervisor instructed him not to clean up any trash on the sidewalk unless it was directly in front of the door. As a small business owner here in Bushwick I am very confused because I am responsible for cleaning the entire sidewalk in front of the building 18 inches out past the curb. If I do not do that I can face fines. My question here is why is the MTA not held to the same standard and why are they not picking up the sidewalk litter and illegal dumping out front. I called 311 they sent me to 511, then 511 sent me back to 311. So unsuccessfully at filing a sanitation complaint. And I hope the MTA just does better they should be held to the same standard of every other building in Brooklyn. If the subway stop was in Park slope we wouldn’t even be having this problem Bushwick deserves clean streets."
"I like the mosaic vintage border. there's a circus tent somewhere on the other station. This line is well kept and the train is a little older with the access a ride commercial"
"Clean platforms and frequent train service. The little brick entrance looks cool."
