"This is a good place when you go somewhere like the Jerry Orbach Theater and it’s cross the street from the train station just one block. On the other hand you don’t get free transfer and you will have to walk across the street to go to your destination either downtown or uptown. Watch out for any subway station whether it has free transfer or not they could trick you."

"Avoid the downtown side like the plague because it probably does havr the plauge with the homeless people of Times Square treating the air ventilation pits on the sidewalk that connect to the platform like toilets. I've been working in the area for 9 months and there has never been a day this station has not reeked of decomposing human excrement. The 1 train is always on time however, no problems there."
