"Waited way too long for the R train from 59th. St to Forest Hills. There is about 5 N’s and 3 W’s waste of time and manpower. F for failure"
"this place is a great connecting station for all east side travel but there one was a time that a guy was being escorted out by police with half a beer bottle lodged in his cranium. Even though he was probably in show it is a miracle he is alive. anyway it also makes the collages and hospitals in the area more acessable and provides one of the best upper east side subway lines."
"The platform on the N/R/W is too narrow to accommodate people getting around the staircases to get to their transfers with the 4/5/6. Its an unpleasant station to wait in. The 4/5/6 portion is better, but still not one of the better stations in the system by any means."
"The best thing this station has going for it is convenience. It's a good transfer location between the 6 line and the N/R/W line. That said, it's typically extremely crowded and the trains are often too full to enter during rush hours."
"The Station clearly wasn't designed to handle modern day ridership, especially during rush hours. All trains stop here since they have to merge onto one track for each direction, which results in very frequent train service. It's pretty clean but you can't really see it anyway since there's always so many people there."
