"They had beautiful mosaics, I especially loved the one of the LGBTQ+ couple (Thor Stockman and Patrick Kellog). The subway train came quick and ready, this is a very beautiful subway station and would come here again just because of the atmosphere."
"Beautiful clean station on 72nd and 2nd Ave. The artwork at here is Perfect Strangers, a set of portrait mosaics by artist and photographer Vik Muniz. The escalator is long and goes deep underground. If heights scare you, there are elevators on the SE corner of 72nd & 2nd to take you down to the subway or back up to street level. The Q on this line is the express train. head uptown all the way to 96th Street or go downtown. 3 stops and you're at Times Square or take it all the way to Stilwell Ave , Coney Island. Safe, Clean and a nice edition to the east side"
"The 2nd Avenue subway line was built to take some pressure off the Lexington Avenue line which is plagued by overcrowding. Accordingly, I use the 72nd street station on the 2nd avenue line to get home to Bklyn from Hunter College. This station is new and even has elevators on the south east side of 72nd street and 2nd avenue from the street level to the mezzanine. The 69th street entrance requires that you walk down a flight of steps then take an escalator down the bulk of the way. When exiting here you can take escalators both ways, to street level. On the weekends and late nights you can also take the M from this station."
"There are 3 escalators and FIVE elevators at this station, which makes it a dream of accessibility if you use this station daily."
"Excellent new path for the Q line. As we could imagine the station is new, big, clean, comfortable, spacious and fast."
