"Elmhurst Av is a pretty run down station. A chain-link fence seems pretty odd when looking at it as it blocks off part of the mezzanine. The entrances are getting reconstructed, but the one that connects to other shops is very unnerving when walking through it."
"Pretty Average station, no bus lines drop off here so it isn't as crowded as some of the other stations near it. Nice Asian food at Street level but the neighborhood can be slightly dangerous at night."
"The black lady staff was so rude I cannot take her attitude! She’s a racist woman and she don’t deserve to work on that kind of job. I only asked her politely to let me in because when i swiped my metrocard, it says just used. I swiped it in the wrong side because i was so afraid of the drunk spanish men there they are in my way. The police officers should do something about those drunk men there. If you guys don’t do something to improve your customer service, I need to let your higher officers be informed about this matter. I am a US citizen here and I am a taxpayer so I have the right to complain. The incident happened at 7:56pm April 7, 2019 at Elmhurst Avenue subway station."
"Elmhurst Ave is situated in the Elmhurst section of Queens, the station is served by the M train during weekdays, the R train during weekdays and weekends, the E train during nights and disruptions and the F during disruptions. Elmhurst Ave is a very interesting station, the colour of the tiles and the support columns are different. The station is not to bad in terms of smell, style, and cleanliness."
"Overfilled, and long wait times for the ER. Also, I had to tell the radiologist over and over again that the doctor ordered x-rays on both of my wrist. You must be persistent."
