"We moved to Upper Saddle River three years ago. After viewing so many houses before the pandemic locked us in. When we were finally able to get back to viewing houses, my husband saw the listing for the house we live in currently. He fell in love with the photos and when we viewed the house, I fell in love with the giant backyard and fantastic fresh air! It took a while for me to venture out into the community in search of neighbors, but finally, I got to a town meeting and found friendly people who were all there caring about community issues. There's so much going on that I've yet to discover. I found out our house used to be a restaurant!! That might explain why we have such fun celebrating holidays and feeling like we're on vacation every day! I have a lot more to add to this review, which I'll edit into it in the future. There's just so much amazing history to discover, I want to be sure to do justice by it. I'm really looking forward to visiting the Upper Saddle River Historical Museum. This town is the biggest small town community on the map! The New York Times published an article about life in Upper Saddle River in 2018. Describing it almost as lovely as it is but no mention of how beautifully endless the night sky is over the tall pines right outside my front door. The full moon, when there's one, looks like a big, pretty pearl. During the day, the clouds are like none I've ever seen! And when the sun is shining, it's the brightest! The New York Times got it right as they always have. Upper Saddle River is a magnificent, rual, pleasant place to dwell."

"Rude, Rude, Rude! Perhaps the gal who is in the first office to the right when you walk into the building, can do her job with a smile, instead of making people think they are bothering you!"

"Never a returned phone call. Building Department is extremely dysfunctional!!"

"We can never get through the office or get any to respond. All phone calls go to voice mails automatically, it’s very frustrating while we are paying one of the highest range of taxes."
