"An immaculate park with strict pandemic rules (and highly visible signage) on mask wearing and social distancing. Mask wearing is 100% and social distancing is mostly obeyed (only a few kids with masks on have come up to ask to pet my dog). A series of fences and tents were positioned at the 2 entrances onto the baseball field, for players/coaches/staff to enter and to funnel parents/fans away, towards the viewing areas. 5 of these medium-sized canopy tents also provide shade and maybe cover from rain; the only room for constructive criticism is that whoever runs/maintains the park left these up for every major storm in the summer of 2020. Tropical Storm Isaias absolutely destroyed 3 of the 5, an unnamed thunderstorm destroyed another a few weeks later, and now only one canopy remains standing. I know they were toast because I have eyes, and also because they put them by the dumpsters to be hauled off by trash collection services. *Edit:* they put up 3 more replacements, now a total of 4 canopies up. There are multiple shipping containers at the park used for storage, so it's not like they didn't have anywhere to put them. I'm guessing this was simply an oversight or the park is well-funded enough to absorb those losses without much thought."
