"We visited the dam to experience the "Winter Wonderland" drive through experience!! Christmas lights, snow machines blowing snow, life-size snow globes with actors inside!!! It was awesome!!! Everybody enjoyed themselves and we can't wait until next year!!!"
"As part of our New York City vacation week, we drove upstate to the lovely town of Sleepy Hollow. On our return to the city, we stopped at Kenisco Reservoir to stretch our legs and have a look around. Unknown to us, the Muslim Heritage Festival was in progress. Great vibes and nice people all around us. We then hiked up to the top of the dam and the scenery is fabulous (Make sure to wear comfortabe shoes and be in good health). Beautiful area. The dam and archways have a definite Roman architectural design and are awesome. Also was moved by the 911 memorial there. Very moving. This area is a must see if you are up that way."
"This place is great, has playground, trail,huge lawn, dog friendly and awesome dam, definitely go to the top the view is amazing. Kensico worth the visit, parking is free too."
