"If I could give them no stars....or a negative I would! What this company does should be illegal. They prey on people who are afraid to voice their concerns. My 70 yr old parents moved from the New England to Pa, they were given a "binding quote" which a deposit was made on. When they came to pack their home of almost 20 years, the lady in the office demanded an additional $15k to have their items delivered. If not, she told my father that the workers will unload their items on the curb. When the items finally made it to Pa, the majority of the boxes were destroyed! The drivers were instructed to collect the $15k before they would even open the back of the truck. Furniture with drawers were upside down in the truck and things were just falling out. Boxes that had little to no items in them were left on the bottom of a very heavy pile. This company should be out of business! Please consider this review a warning to all those thinking that they are giving you a good "price" and it "won't happen to me"! GO LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Take a look at the photos...does this look like a $20k packing and moving job? Further action has been started!!!!"

"WARNING!! I had a deeply troubling experience with Top Rated Moving Van Lines and concerned others will fall in the trap of the bait and switch salesmanship. Despite moving cross country three times, I've never faced such poor service. My home sustained more damage than ever before, and the packing was both careless and wasteful (boxes not filled, single items in large wardrobe boxes, not a single item on a hanger hung, houseplants still in the pot with dirty tossed in on top of belongings, to name only a few). My main issue is not just the treatment of my belongings but the fraud. I was quoted for 3,000 cubic feet from NY to UT. We did a walk through before anything was packed but was never given any indication of another price estimate. After the items were packed, I was pressured to sign all documents, and an updated cost stating the load had increased to 6,500 cubic feet, doubling my cost. I was served a document to sign stating in ALL CAPS on the page "TO BE SIGNED PRIOR TO THE HOUSEHOLD GOODS BEING LOADED INTO THE TRUCK" I refused to sign it, even tore it in half although they took it. At the time the corporate dispatcher allowed a pittance of a discount but refused to address the overcharge. Upon delivery, the 53’ tractor trailer was 90% full, and the driver admitted it could hold only 4,000 cubic feet. I refused to sign the receipt until I could speak with the management, and they left with unsigned documents. Management has refused to communicate beyond one comment that I should get a lawyer and that they in fact DID have signed (not by me). This has been devastating to my family as we are not prepared to pay this cost and we are losing so many of our possessions to damage and mistreatment. Pictures can be provided upon request. Based on other reviews and complaints, this is behavior that is being allowed and common. Please help me and future consumers by holding this company accountable for its business practices."

"I do NOT recommend them for long distance moving! I did everything they asked and they wayyyyy underquoted me and when the movers came they charged me an additional $2500. Then it took them 2 weeks to arrive when I was originally told 3-5 days. When I called after a week they told me the truck broke down…how come no one notified us or anyone else they still hadn’t delivered to yet that they were delayed due to this? That’s unprofessional. Then when they finally arrived most of my boxes were smashed and damaged, plastic bins broken, furniture broken or scratched, and my kids large toys (that I paid extra to move) were broken into pieces and not fixable. My son was in tears. Do NOT use this company! Update: After I finally got my own place and moved everything out of storage I found out that the desk had a broken leg, my $1400 bed frame was broken and not fixable because some of the broken parts were missing(they were clearly trying to hide the damage), things in boxes were broken, and one of my computer monitors that I had bubble wrapped & the corner foam on & in a fragile tv/monitor box had a cracked screen!!! How badly were they throwing my stuff around that they broke a protected monitor screen!!!! Worst moving company ever I wish I could have sued them for all the damage they caused and how much $$ I lost on this move."

"STAY AWAY! A terrible experience! I could not be more displeased. TLDR: Bait and switch. non-english speakers. rushed to sign documents. damaged property. poor compensation. I'm attaching photos with a written breakdown of how awful they are, and will be looking to share these reviews with as many people as possible. (I'm not posting photos of all the broken things. Just enough to give you an idea). Oh, I forgot to mention that they also used MY drill (without permission) for taking apart furniture and putting it back together, and lost one of my specialty bits in the process."

"I am giving them a 1 star because 0 was not an option. I am prior military and have moved over 18 times. When I hired "Top Rated" Moving company, it was my first move out of the military....and let me say the company is EVERYTHING BUT top rated. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I will summarize: 1.) Estimate was about half what I was charged for. 2.) The delivery crew attempt to steal some of my items as evident with their names written on it. 3.) "White glove" service worked for the first 30% of my boxes until they ran out of paper and then loaded heavy items on top of china and breakables 4.) They damaged my new hardwood flooring when delivering 5.) They drove all over my yard and left ruts 6.) They held my items hostage until I paid which prevented me from doing a detailed inspection of items. 7.) The $30K in claims I formally submitted they tried to settle for $293.05. I have given them 1 last chance to make this right or I will provide a follow-up review on how smoothly the civil court process works out. Photos attached for reference."
