"The station is always clean. Smiling faces and a safe area and space. There are always cabs near by and the bus terminal is right adjacent with Avis on-site as well. I have driven for the last 20 years and since commuting for work via the train for 4 months, the experience has not been bad at all. There are few times I have had to ride standing up, to and from, but there’s always seats available depending on where you get on."
"Great place to railfan and is a good station to take the train to and from. Amtrak and Metro north stop here with trains about every hour. The only problem is the parking is only about 30 minutes. Here is a picture I caught of Amtrak 642 Veterans at the station on train 140."
"New Rochelle station seems very adequate enough. Taxis and buses and rail station comes together in one place. However the only needs to be upgraded is the restrooms. The restrooms are in a horrible condition. Nobody wants to use the restrooms anymore. It needs a good thorough cleaning and a well fixing up to maintain a healthy and cleaning environment. Other than that it's okay. and friendly transit hub environment."
