"Two times dealing with police in Nanuet/Clarkstown. The first time was a domestic call they at least showed up for but did nothing about. Lazy policing and poor evaluation of a potentially dangerous situation. The second time my husband and I were asking about how items were charged at the register in Target and a woman behind us rudely told us to go to customer service and bragged she was an off duty police officer as if it were a threat. Hope to never need these people as long as I live here."

"I want to take a moment to thank the Clarkstown Police Department for responding to what turned out to be a false alarm. Today in Valley Cottage my contractor, without any notice to me sent a worker to my home, when no one was present and the worker inadvertently set off all of the cameras and alerts. The response was of our Clarkstown Police Department was swift and professional. First, I want to thank you for being there for me and responding the way you did. Second, I want to apologize for the false alarm. Had I known better, this might have been avoided. I am extremely appreciative for the sacrifice that each member of law enforcement makes each day when they put on the uniform and place themselves in harm’s way to keep our community safe. As an attorney, I sincerely appreciate your service. From a grateful citizen and member of our community please accept my sincere thanks for your assistance today and everyday.
