Reviews
"Recently had 2 projects framed. They were family heirlooms that are priceless to me. Leah and Corey took the time to come up with great designs for both frames (at extremely reasonable prices). I could not be happier with the results. Do not trust your projects to a hobby store-use “ Bob’s Art and Framing”. You will NOT BE SORRY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for all you custom framing projects."
"Renee has an extraordinary eye for color, balance, and appropriateness for the art. She has the patience of a saint. She works within your budget but her frames and other materials are high end so do not expect craft store pricing. She will advise you if something is too ornate or anachronistic but ultimately will do whatever you request. But we always take her recommendations. She is an artist herself."
"I can't begin to explain how happy and grateful I am for the pieces Leah and her son created. They completely captured my vision, and moved my wife to tears when presented at her retirement party. The collaboration, workmanship, communication and attention to detail were above and beyond my expectations."
"I have been going to Bob’s Art and Framing for about 5 years now. I have had around 20 concert posters and many old family photos framed. I drive an hour each way because it is the best framing shop around. Every piece is done so beautifully and is completed in a timely way. I am not creative so the staff is incredibly helpful with picking frames that fit each piece perfectly. They truly treat me like family when I’m there and I will never go anywhere else for framing!"
"I've had several good experiences with Bob's Art and Framing, New City, NY. They reframed a piece of artwork that had broken glass, a painting, and fine art print. Each time, I was given the time and attention to have about 30 minutes of consultation time, as frames, mats, and various other aspects were discussed. The $30 framing fee is waived for returning customers. They accidentally discarded a damaged mat that I said I wanted to keep, and replaced it as new, no questions asked. I've never felt they've tried to upsell me on anything, even talking to me about more cost-effective options. There's no real training to develop an artistic eye, you either have it or you don't, and the owner has it at Bob's Art & Framing. Turn around is anywhere from 1 week, to (more likely) 3 weeks, but it's worth the wait. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and it's safer going to a quality place than some place that will ruin artwork. There is an adjacent parking lot, and entry area Fire Lane for easy loading, which they assist with. The bathroom is gender - non specified (gender neutral), wheelchair accessible, and clean, if not overly scented with Yankee Candle Company candles. They are child - friendly, ethnic and gay - friendly, and take all major credit cards, including American Express, but do not specifically cater to this population. I would recommend Bob's Art and Framing."
