"I've been banking with Pathfinder since 2017 and I've never had worse banking service. Between their fraud department constantly canceling mine and my husband's debit cards because of unknown charges that have to be questioned and/or disputed, to the numerous issues we've encountered in the last 4 months. I would never recommend this bank to someone who values their finances. On top of these noted issues, we've gone into the bank in person to sign paperwork to specifically make sure overdrafts could not and would not take place on our checking accounts. Just for the bank to tell us they have no record of such transaction taking place. When I spoke with a member of Bank management on the phone about the issue and told her I'd be in again in person to sign paperwork, again, to make sure this wasn't a problem. At the time arranged, the was not available and handed my paperwork off to the same individual who claimed never to speak with me the first time. In closing, my husband and I will be closing our account within the next 21 days and going to a different financial institution which we've already looked into due to not only their lack of professionalism and proper documentation of handling customers accounts but the lack of availability in hours for their customers to do business within in a local branch."
"Difficult to get on the phone. Also they charge you for your monthly statement. They didn't mention that when I opened my account. However, when I went in to talk to them about it the teller waived the fee and I really appreciated it. The bank itself isn't great but the people are nice."
"Very dissapointed. I went in to close accounts for an estate. The Lacona branch demanded the original court documents that allowed me to be the Administrator. I said they could not keep the originals. Their legal department said they could copy them. When they handed my documents back to me I did not check them, I just put them in a folder. When I went to use them at another bank I found that one of the court documents was a copy not an original. I contacted Pathfinder. They said they only had copies, no originals. Pathfinder copied the originals. Where did it go. How did I end up with a copy? I never copied them."
