"Not only your average volunteer fire eaters, but also do a lot of community functions for adults and kids, including Memorial Day, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, and other parades and activities for kids, etc. They have both an indoor Community Center and a large Fireman's Park for use or rent (we had our wedding at the park,) and are definitely some of the top skilled community fire personnel, including specialized water, ice + rope rescue. As a retired EMT bland son of a Navy veteran myself, it's nice to have a community organization that not only does what they signed up to do (put out fires,) but that go above and beyond, including Easter egg hunts and haunted houses to Christmas Tree lighting's and Memorial Day tributes that include actual local Vets. A good mixed bunch."
