Equinox Brookfield Place

"Nice location with beautiful waterfront views. Lots of space. Large steam room. Nice lounge with outlets to charge. Only negative is the water pressure is the worst I've come across in any Equinox location. Very weak! Also there is the food court downstairs so you can get your post workout meal within the building."

I tried repeatedly to sign up but was chasing their staff and when they did respond, they did not honor the price they were advertising the very day I was trying to sign up. ** 4/16/24 Update ** Thanks for responding. This is completely accurate and I have evidence to support it. Happy to reach out via email, thanks again. ** 4/27/24 Update ** I emailed Concierge twice over the last 10 days, provided documentation on the issue, and have not received any response. ** 5/20/24 Update ** I've given up on this. They never addressed the documentation I provided and I spent more time chasing the GM. I've moved on. Its disappointing because Equinox was one of the reasons I was excited to work at Brookfield Place."

"This gym has gone downhill since I joined two years ago. The new manager Britney is constantly unresponsive to your requests—simple as sending the membership agreement, which I asked three times and have not received to this day. I’ve also had items stolen in the locker room before, which she did nothing about. And even when she’s in the club, she refuses to talk in person and asks for email instead. The lack of management skills shows throughout the club. No longer a luxury gym experience."

"Some equipments are old and not sturdy. I had an appointment with a trainer for 9am and they changed it to 12pm without consulting me first. I followed up to reschedule via email…no answer. I followed up for my massage that came with my membership package…no answer. Why do I have to keep following up? The staff should be taking initiatives for the amount they are charging. Not a good experience. And yes, the showers are cold. The previous reviews about the cold showers are true."
