"So happy this gym exists, brand new equipment, mostly clean, but AC and bathrooms need upgrades. They definitely need to maximize their space with equipment. Hammer strength chest and back machines could be added, additional leg press for options when people are already using them. The cable area needs to be organized better with attachments, typically people don’t use them correctly and things get left everywhere. It also would be great if every morning someone reracks the weights cause they’re usually all over the place by the end of the day. Update August 2024, might as well call this Steven’s University gym now….womp. It was great while it lasted, now it’s like every other crowded gym in Hoboken."

"Great value for the price! Super clean, lots of machines and space, super friendly staff. The treadmill room is a little stuffy but there’s others by the windows. Generally don’t have to wait long for machines."

"Had to give one star to write a review. This gym has serious disconnect with their 3rd party payment entity. I canceled at their gym and stopped making payments. Yet they still harass me to make payments for all the months my membership had been canceled. And now threatening to report my balance to credit reporting bodies. We all know, you cannot get into the gym if your account is not paid for. So, they are being complete bottom feeder crooks. DO NOT COME HERE!"

"I'm frequently recording at a studio in Hoboken and absolutely love working out at Fitness Factory! It's such an improvement over Retro, the absolute horror that was there before. It's super clean, the equipment is all brand-new and state-of-the-art, and the staff is wonderful. The management/ownership are very accessible and friendly. I give this gym my highest rating."
