"This is my first Google review, but I feel like E Madison deserves it. After three years of being a member here, I decided to downgrade my membership to a "regular" EQX because the decline in services and facilities was unbecoming of a place that charges 600$+ a month. The abhorrent attitude of the GM and complete lack of pride in ensuring clean, functioning facilities became intolerable. E Madison has the potential to be something really special. Unfortunately, that is not being realized."

"SOMEONE, PLEASE REPLACE THIS GM ASAP !!! We were informed that she lives in a different state and needs 4.5 hours EACH way to commute to the Club since she started the job in February 2023. On the days she is here, it appears she has been staying in her office. Several members have spotted her in the locker room and sink area wearing a "pajama-like outfit" and engaging in activities related to getting ready for work. It is odd and a little nauseous.. It seems she is at the office only 1 or 2 days a week, making it difficult to find her physically at the Club if you need to reach her due to her undisclosed working hours. Her incompetence often leads to mishaps at the Club. This behavior is FAR from the "white glove" service that E Madison portrays in the media."

"Very disappointed with the current state of this location's facilities. There have been persistent issues, such as the recent three-day lack of hot water in all locker rooms and shower stalls. Additionally, about four months ago, the water fountain in the lounge area was out of order for approximately three weeks (not days), and the sole remaining water fountain in the training area was found to have been tampered with something like spat or phlegm on it which is disgusting. The malfunction of the nearby elliptical machine further added to the inconvenience. Considering the more than $600 monthly membership fee, these service lapses do not align with the expected value. The GM is not up to par. Immediate attention to these matters is necessary to ensure the standard of service that we deserve."

"I wasted a whole 30 minutes trying to fix a broken exercise machine that I wanted to use. Despite seeking assistance from others, it was all in vain. Maddening!"

"As a paying member ($600/month), it is unacceptable that the female maintenance manager, who wears black plastic-framed eyeglasses and a fuller figure, consistently exudes an unwelcoming and unapproachable demeanor. The club is declining."
