"When I asked for starting price, he said he did have any cheap bikes, I felt sick at this behavior, How can you talk to your customers like that??"
"I bought a Segway electric scooter from them and the battery died a year later. He tells me he will replace the battery for $165.00. After they replaced it, I did notice the power was less. Turns out they installed a lower amperage battery. Don't use these guys to work on your bikes or scooters. They only know simple fixes. The much more complicated jobs are sent to another bike shop. They are also very money hungry."
"I must say that it was not a pleasant looking place. Kinda was scared as i went to the back of the store. I met up with the bike tech. He asked me what i needed. Told him i needed new breaks. In 15 mins he put in breaks for both front and back. Also filled up my tires. Did a quick look at my rims and tires. Then he told me that he was finished and he would take my bike outside. I went to pay, which was extremely low in price compare to others places i went to. I left and my bike is brand new. I rode in Central Park from his location to 57th st and rode back to my 116th st. Feels awesome. Sometimes, something looks off but it is the best service i got from some bike places in two years since i got the bike."
"Do not go to this bike shop! I went for a tune up and was charged $80 and they ruined my bike! I went back twice and every time I went back, something new popped up and I had to pay for something else. Last time I was there they said my bike was fine, although I told them when I’m on my bike and I shift gears there’s a lot of crunching. Then he proceeded to show me how to use my gears, I’ve been on my bike from Harlem to Mount Vernon and back, I KNOW how my gears work! Now alllllll of a sudden something else needs to be changed??? Why wasn’t that told you me when they tuned up my bike? SCAMMERS! Stay awayyyyy!!"
