"For $299 a month, this gym offers not much. There are only 7 treadmills available, so naturally they are always occupied. Some treadmills are also always broken. In fact, something is always broken here, either a treadmill, or hot water or the door. Classes and instructors are super mediocre. Tried many classes and not a single one stood out to me. Showers are smelly. They also always find a way to charge extra. Pilates classes are extra $40 a session. Extra for pickleball. You can’t also use the outdoor pool area on the weekends (although you are a member) because they’d rather charge the public. Do yourself a favor and go to Equinox. Better quality of service. Better classes."
"This location opened around 2016 and it shows -- in particular the lockers, showers and spa areas needing the more attention. Either not enough reinvestment has gone into it, there is a lack of cleaning staff/accountability, or both. Could be great but as others have said, this location offers a severely degraded experience compared to other lifetimes, or even other gyms with proper management. If it were not for the cold plunge, I would rate this place 0 stars."
"Could be great but it's super dirty. They have awesome features (best cold plunge and best steam room I've ever used), pickleball, olympic weightlifting stations, etc. But, the gym itself and especially the spa and shower areas are really gross - like you need to watch your feet or you'll step in grime and hairballs gross. Would be 5 stars if they just cleaned more often."
"This gym sucks let’s be real- they charge a fortune for what? I belong to the One Penn Plaza location and the sauna DOOR has been broke since it opened. So ridiculous, you’re telling me you can’t get someone to fix a DOOR for over 3 months? Not to mention the staff is so incredibly rude. I miss the old gym. The staff was so pleasant and the membership was so reasonable. They wanna charge me $225 more a month for a broke sauna, mean staff, and all they did when they took over from the previous gym was change the machines (they’re not any better than the ones before)"
"Turkish Hammam and cold plunge are incredible!!! Rachel, taught a sweaty, intense Flow yoga class that was challenging and fun! cooling off in the cold plunge after a heated yoga class was a perfect combination! the rooftop pool was not available to use, even with my diamond membership. something about an agreement with the condos neighborhood association, and it's an additional pool pass. they wanted me to pay $100 for a day pass! but it wasn't on top of a skyscraper like the photos imply. it's on the eleventh floor of the building and the residences go up higher in a separate tower. pool didn't seem that exciting to be honest. just a shallow leisure pool. (our outdoor pool at home is better with waterslides and fountains and lap lanes.) so.... check out the Turkish Hammam...."
