"I've loved this yoga studio for years! Every time I have went, I felt great when I left. Madeline is a great instructor and makes everyone in the room feel welcome to be there."
"Absolutely wonderful 26 + 2 studio. I see reviews that are critical of the 26 + 2 practice here and I don’t understand what that is about. There are plenty of studios to choose from - this studio is a 26 + 2 studio and they stay in that lane perfectly. I have been practicing this yoga for 15+ years and this studio is legit. The class is difficult and the heat requires planning(drink lots of water 12 hours leading up to class) I will visit every time I am in the Buffalo area. Out of towners - try the $60 unlimited out of town pass :). Thank you, I am Yoga Buffalo!"
"They MOSTLY do 26/2 aka Bikram yoga (look up the guy "Birkam", very creepy authoritarian man that got way too close to women). It's very military like, just follow the algorithm type of yoga aka "beginner friendly." Probably the worst type of "yoga" class if you sit in a chair all day and actually need to stretch (most of our society). Most of these are just balance poses, ehh. Poses that just heat up your body in an already hot room, thus: just very uncomfortable being that hot, very little stretching, not very beneficial. This would be ooook, if it was not a heated room (cuz the these type of poses will heat up the body naturally). And it would be ooook if it was not the majority of the classes. Its like 90% 26/2 classes and 10% what I call actual yoga, if it was the opposite 10% and 90% respectively, I would give it 5 stars. And to be clear, I don't have a problem with a routine, its could be any other 26 poses (stretching poses), I have a problem with those particular posses, they just feel random and made up. Im sure some people like it :/"
"I went to a Saturday morning 26/2 class. While I am not a beginner and this was not my first hot yoga class, I struggled a bit and was not able to complete the hour-long class. That being said, I loved it and felt amazing afterwards. Everyone at the studio made me feel comfortable and welcome, and made sure to check in with me after the class to see how I was doing. It was an incredible experience and I believe I may even do it again!"
"Sharon's, (Ms. Chuns' and Matalynns') class was 90 minutes of very valuable and direct instruction and understanding of yoga. As a beginner, I found the best way to enjoy the class was to listen first and then observe how others reacted to the instruction through the mirrors. I encourage anyone who can stand heat (100+° f) and sweat (a change of clothes is recommended). Come on in, and check it out for yourself, and don't forget to bring water!!! Namasta"
