"For years, this area was prime to watch fireworks, there was a person who lived at the last house, always said she call the police, it was open it said no trespassing anywhere, you could get out of the car & walk around get pictures under the satellites, at one point the doppler radar that WSTM had was here, no more, when I asked someone who worked the weather it was said that was the past, I wasn't losing my mind, there was a triple doppler radar globe/ball here, I had videotapes of the commercial saying it was coming."

"It's a broadcast television transmitter for CNY central - a CBS affiliate. It's good I guess? Never had many outages and it's a strong transmitter. It's also over 70 years old so I guess it's a well-built tower."
