Founded by Gary Klapkowski, who began giving on-ice lessons at the age of nineteen while playing in the Ontario Hockey League (O.H.L.), Advanced Edge Hockey Training has grown significantly since its inception. Gary, the Owner and Head Trainer, continues to provide private and group on-ice lessons at Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon. He also hosts summer camps focused on skills and skating development, as well as conditioning.

In 2015, Gary expanded the business by opening a training studio that specializes in personalized training plans for hockey players, ranging from the ADM level to Junior/College. Despite the growth, Gary remains dedicated to the core mission of the business: the holistic development of hockey players both on and off the ice.

Gary Klapkowski holds multiple prestigious roles within the Pittsburgh Predators organization, serving as the Midget Level Director, U18 AAA Head Coach, and U16 AAA and U15 AAA Player Development and Systems Coach. His extensive experience and dedication ensure that each player receives top-quality training tailored to their needs.
