"My education at Millersville was not like what I was prepared for in high school. The professors I had cared about their classes, and if a class was ever missed, they would send an email to the student. A lot of professors even knew students name despite how many students they taught. I also had invaluable opportunities to gain experience that prepared me for the workplace in addition to my studies."
"Going here was an absolute disaster. I didn't realize I had ADHD until I began struggling with one of my higher-level math classes. The services available for students with disabilities are very much lacking, as a result I had to drop out. Now I'm over $70,000 in debt, likely not able to return for the next five years. At least I can work 14 hour days now, so I wouldn't be in debt forever, but I absolutely hate college now"
"I had a good experience. The food wasn't bad, there are lots of jobs available for students - particularly in dining. My business professors, and some other departmental professors, are awesome, and I still keep in contact with many of them and seek their counsel. I feel I got a good education for a more fair price than other schools. However, I don't think it was necessary to replace all the old dorms. In fact, the process ruined many's experience during the years of construction, as fences and what looked like war-zones replaced the quad. And, I hear prices are only going up and attendance is not keeping up. Great school, but I think reforms need to be made and it would be wise for the administration to seek the counsel of the business department, which has years of experience and wisdom."
"I am in my fourth year at the University and I can say I have no complaints what so ever. Every faculty member I have had class with have been nothing but great and my department has some of the best people around. It is nice to have faculty know you by name rather than just as another student, which is why I chose this school over the larger ones for my field. Everyone on campus is a friendly face and they make you feel nothing but welcomed. There has been a ton of construction while I have been here, however, this school is improving and has such big plans for the next couple of years to really put themselves on the map. Give it another year or two and Millersville will be improved and even better than the four years I was here."
"Millersville is a solid value. In state tuition and fees are very reasonable. The University provides a decent education for a reasonable price. This was one of my backup schools for undergrad but my first choice as a grad student. I liked the program's flexibility and the top notch faculty. One issue is that MU definitely lacks name recognition outside of the Lancaster area. Overall a good school."
