"I’ve been a student here for just over two years, when a friend finally convinced me to come to one class, and it’s been amazing. The school is a really welcoming and supportive place, unlike other martial arts schools I’ve experienced. The instructors are incredibly patient and push you to your limits and beyond while making sure that everyone is using correct form to avoid injury. Kung Fu classes have a good mix of solid workouts and conditioning, empty hand and weapons forms, self defense techniques, and sparring, (these last two with attention to partner safety). The Tai Chi classes are great for a change of pace - physically and mentally challenging but at the same time really relaxing and grounding. In addition to the regular classes there are several opportunities every year to attend seminars, both locally with visiting Masters and in Kentucky, with the school’s Grandmaster. I can honestly say that coming to this school has been and continues to be one of the best decisions I’ve made."
