"Times square is one of those interesting places. It's really tourist central for New York. It's not the real city. But it's still and interesting place to visit. Every time I visit the city I make a point of walking time square at least once. Your going to see a crazy slice of humanity. And when I say crazy...that is exactly what I mean. But it's part of the fun. As long as you understand that the square is about as close to New York life as Disneyland is to California life...then you can enjoy the spectacle."
"Not sure what the hype is all about. Definitely not my type. The flashy billboards at night are eye-catching, but that’s pretty much about it. Insanely crowded at all times, making it difficult to walk. You might wanna visit once during your NYC trip for the “experience”."
"Walked to Times Square before 07:00 on Saturday morning and it was pleasant to have the space to move around. Went back in the late afternoon and it was packed, which has its own type of energy and experience. Either way, this is a must see if you’re on a trip in New York City. Lots to see and do on the Square, with the Hard Rock Café being a favourite of mine."
"We visited Times Square during the day, it's an incredible experience. Even under the bright daylight, the massive digital screens are mesmerizing, filling the area with vivid colors and dynamic advertisements that grab your attention from every angle. The energy here is palpable, with crowds of people moving through the square, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere. The red steps are a perfect spot to take it all in. From there, you can watch the world go by, surrounded by the iconic sights and sounds of this bustling hub. It's a great place to sit for a moment, snap some photos, and feel the pulse of New York City."
"One of my favorite places to be during evenings when it’s all bright and lit up with crowds cheering. I love watching those big bright screens with moving images. People walking around with their loved ones, some buying from the street vendors. I quietly enjoy people bargaining with those roadside vendors who are selling copies of branded women bags. It’s a fun place to be."
