"as a cvs pharm tech or associate you need to learn how to talk to customers on the phone and actually show you care. Some people are set in tone of how they are but keep in mind when dealing with customers it’s customers first and also how we treat or talk to people Integrity. whoever is on duty today 3/9/2024 you are not a nice person on phone or in person can clearly see you throw in a little thank you or what not when the customer is in front of you in the presence of your job more eyes on you."
"This location is horrible. I was waiting in line 15 min before the pharmacy closed. They were taking forever with each customer. My turn came up just at 6 when they were closing. They shut the window on me and would not attend me. They should have had the decency to at least help the ones in line before closing time. It was extremely unprofessional and impolite. To add to that you are a pharmacy of all places."
"Update: December 26, 2023. Dennis, the regular Pharmacist, has been amazing at helping us since we moved to Riverhead, NY from NYC a year ago. CVS in Target ‘s “Floaters” are unreliable. Few of them made unprofessional comments that may be considered “discriminatory.” Pharmacists can take “walk in” for vaccination especially if my wife has an appointment for a flu vaccine which we did online. Even though it seemed my wife did not have one, Tom, a male Caucasian Pharmacist, was too lazy to even look at the CVS database. Then he made a condescending comment which sounded either sexism or racism. This is hurtful on a personal level especially because my wife was a vulnerable Asian woman who felt she cannot defend herself at that moment. She felt inferior with how Tom spoke to her. Another time there’s a female Pharmacist who made a very uncomfortable comment when she assumed that I, the husband, is gay because of her preconceived notion while I was with my wife. Whether I am gay or not, that’s not the problem. It was her unprofessional condescending comment. Why is me being “gay” even an issue? These unprofessional comments are not allowed in this field. Maybe CVS should remind their staff about great customer service with a “Sensitivity Training,” or terminate these pharmacists!!! It’s apparent that education does not make a person more sensitive to other people’s background. Other than Denise, the Pharmacy Technician was impressive with her interpersonal skills. She immediately apologized to my wife after the incident Tom, the Pharmacist. —- We like this pharmacy. We understand the situation, but a pharmacy cannot function with ONE pharmacist doing all the work including shelving and cash registration. There is a long line and the female pharmacist always looked exhausted. And if you call, they just won’t pick up phone calls. Not everyone can go to the pharmacy just to be told their prescriptions are not ready. Remember when CVS hire people for better customer service? I bet this will be good for their lonely staff."
"Used to be very efficient. One time I was on hold driving from my home and walked into the pharmacy to see workers ignoring the call. They don’t answer the phones and the scripts are never ready or they can’t find them. I switched pharmacies and am much happier."
"This place is HORRIBLE. This pharmacist does not care about his customers one bit . The service is terrible . Getting a prescription filled is hit or miss , completely unreliable . Then when you go to pick up your prescription a day after they told you it would be filled , you're ignored by the staff behind the counter . Shame on you CVS for allowing this kind of behavior from what should be caring , compassionate staff . I'm completely disgusted and will change my pharmacy to a locally owned business. If I could give this place a negative rating I would ."
