"Tried to call to confirm whether on not they had a medication in stock and was left on hold for over 30 mind after being hung up on. No problem Duane Reade I can bring my business to a pharmacy with customer service."

"2/15/24 @ 3pm - I just had the worst experience in this store. I go to make a purchase. While passing thru an aisle, a worker is stocking so as I'm passing her, I say "excuse me" and proceed. On my return, I again say "excuse me" and again pass her. At this point, she starts to curse at me, calling me every nasty name possible. I go to the front and ask for the manager. A man named Fitzroy(sp?) says he's the manager. I tell him what happened, he asks me who the worker is and when we approach the worker, she starts cursing at me again. I turn to the manager (Fitzroy), pointing out what's happening and astonished because she's using vulgar language in front of him. He turns around, takes his work clothing off, puts on his jacket, grabs his backpack and proceeds to leave. I ask him "what are you going to do about this" and he responds, "I'll take care of it tomorrow" and walks out the store. I go back inside to ask her her name and she refuses, while at the same time turning her badge around so I can't see it. I was able to see her name as "Lucita(sp?)" or similar to that. This store is poorly managed and I can see why the employees are rude and ignorant."

"The Pharmacy staff customer service skills need to be majorly improved. No smiles inviting people to be confident enough to work with them. The worst attitudes over the phone as if they don't want to deal with you. All are out of sync and want to pass the buck to the other. I hope to improve this rating for them as time goes by. I can't deal in a good way with dismissive attitudes towards me and others. This is medicine that people need not for animals."
