"We hiked No Dab (easy and very well-marked) and Myrtle’s Romp. Myrtle’s Romp quickly became my favorite, although it was poorly marked in a few spots. It descends to a wide creekbed covered in creeping myrtle. It was gorgeous and peaceful. Watch your step and pay attention to the trail, lots of ankle rollers on the trail."
"some of the trails are roped off but it's not closed. there was some logging a few years ago but I think it's done now. there's a hard packed rock road back to a picnic area about a quarter mile, and the overland trail crosses through, and there are at least half a dozen mountain bike trails. many of them were very wet and muddy on April 1st 2022. the are signs saying not to step on muddy trails, because they are groomed for bikes and snowshoeing. not the prettiest forest due to the logging but it gets the job done."
"The mountain bike trail is not kept up with and is very rough to ride. There are many large tree roots in the path and there are very steep inclines. if you decide to ride the trail I'd recommend you to have a dual suspension high quality mountain bicycle."
"Good place to access the trails on the Harris Hill State Forest there is a map and notice board and a parking lot."
"The trails that were rideable are great but the loggers decided to follow the No Dab and run tickler trails in with their equipment and have completely destroyed the area, 24 inch deep ruts with thick mud almost 2 lanes wide. What trails they haven’t destroyed they’ve dropped multiple trees over them. The trees are being yanked out of the woods so those trails will be fine eventually, but the path the loggers cut in over the trail is really bad. I feel for the people who cut the single track, it’s hard work and it’s going to have to be done from scratch. Check the community site for updates because this place will be damaged for years."
