"This facility is wonderful. My 90yr grandparents have received exceptional care, and the nurses and staff are very warm. The facility is clean and grounds are beautifully maintained. Provided calm to my family knowing they were being taken care of."

"I wish to thank the employees at the Brookhaven health care facility for their outstanding service while during my stay for a broken hip bone. The CNA’s were quick to assist and provide whatever services needed. Special thanks to Rosa, Tina they made life livable. Nursing care staff were careful to follow proper protocol working to assist in helping stay on my medication. Special thanks to the great care provided by Richie, Vanessa, Matt, and Trinity for your friendly services. PT & OT got me on my feet. I doubted my efforts when we first started. But I went from my being totally locked up and unable to move to walking in a short few weeks. These people started me out doing simple exercises that lead to standing and walking.. While I admit it hurt, I was never expected to go beyond my actual comfort level. There were so many people all working together I can’t remember all their names, Thank you all. Lastly I wish to thanking the administrators for working with me to minimize my headaches explaining who what and how it all worked. Because of their assistance I was able to minimize my out of pocket expense. Again thank you all for your care and services."

"I was in a very bad car accident over 2 years ago and have had 7 surgeries on my leg now. Brookhaven was my 3rd rehabilitation facility i had been to after any big surgery. This facility was the best experience for me. The staff truly care about the patients. All of the rehabilitation facilities i have been to are understaffed. I believe when Covid happened it affected the health care industry greatly in regards to staffing so the ones that remain have to work twice as hard now. God bless them because these people were always there to help me. The PT and OT teams were wonderful. I was there for almost 4 months and only left because my insurance was exhausted and I couldn’t afford to pay privately. I highly recommend this facility. "The best facility! My husband has been a 'frequent flyer' due to his disability. His most recent experience (4 week stay) was, once again, nothing short of exceptional. The process of transitioning hubby from the hospital to this facility was seamless and quick. The faces who greet you at the front desk---every one of them friendly, caring and welcoming. I cannot say enough positive things about the awesome Nursing Staff, Nurse Aides, PT, OT and speech therapists. Both my husband and I have absolutely nothing but admiration and gratitude towards every single person involved in his care. Everyone at this facility treats their patients/residents/fellow employees with genuine respect and dignity and truly can be called "Living Legends"."

"Let me tell you a scary and truly NOT FUNNY JOKE an 87 year old takes a fall hurts his knee goes in to rehab center but is totally healthy besides asking his rehab center to rehab him back to walking. Three weeks later thank god his great niece who is a nurse notices his 2nd degree bed sore, high temperature (due to sepsis) , extra low blood pressure and demands him to be sent to hospital where the ER doctor says “if you didn’t bring him here he would not have made it through the night” Now are we all laughing . That is the three weeks that this place was supposed to be rehabbing my Dad when in fact the days he did go to PT for approximately an hour I did not see any improvement (if they took him at all) and there were days he said I don’t feel like it and they just left him to languish. We Moved him to a place in St James that I will review the polar opposite of this place so make sure you look into the St James Rehab Center . My only “medical advice” I would give is stay away from this place like the plague because you might wish you have it after the treatment I witnessed."
