"The first time I met Dr. Racaniello was when I had pain in my heel and hip. She explained about the "kinetic chain" and told me she wanted to treat the problem and not the symptoms (she wanted to find the reason I was getting the pain). She watched me run and told me that one of my legs is shorter than the other. I had never felt or noticed this before, so she measured my legs and she was right: one was shorter by roughly half an inch! Dr. Racaniello suggested that I add a lift to my right shoe: the pain went away in three days and has never come back. That was more than ten years ago, and she has been my doctor ever since."
