"I cannot tell you if Dr. Lown is a good doctor or not as I have never seen him. I had an appointment with Dr. Lown in August for a sleep study consultation, arrived at my appointment time, waited half an hour and then approached the receptionist to ask when he might be calling me in as I observed that he had two patients in examination and I had somewhere to be later in the evening. I was told he had at least another ten to twenty minutes with those two patients and had another patient ahead of me and that, that patient was there for a consultation and his consultation would be about an hour. I was told that he is a concierge doctor and that he spends a hour with his patients. Since I could not stay in his office for two hours waiting to be seen I asked for my appointment to be rescheduled. I arrived tonight for my rescheduled appointment and spied two other people in the waiting room. I asked if he was running on time and I was politely told that he was not. I asked if it was always like this and the receptionist told me it always is, that he is a concierge doctor and spends an hour with his patients. I asked how long my appointment would be and she somewhat timidly told me at least another half an hour. Seeing as he was with a patient and had two others waiting to see him sitting in the waiting room. I surmised that, that would mean that I would have to wait near another two hours to be seen as I was told that he spends an hour with his patients. I told the receptionist that, that was unprofessional, and why would you schedule my appointment for a time if he could never keep it. She informed me that every patient is different and have different needs. Having my own patients I understand that basic concept, however, I also understand that people have busy lives and doctors like this do not actually care about their patients and that the only person in the world whose time is important is the doctor himself. I left. Attached are some pictures of the doctors office I took the last time I was there. It was just as filthy today. I've decided not try to see Dr. Krueger in his nightmare sleep clinic, and instead find another doctor who can keep commitments to his patients."

"I highly recommend Dr. Lown. I have been a patient of Dr Lown for over 5 years. He is the best doctor that I’ve ever had. I have never felt rushed , he really takes the time to listen to all my issues and truly cares. CPAP has been life changing for me. I consider myself in shape but as a life long weight lifter I have a very thick neck. This seems to have been missed by every other doctor I’ve seen in the past….but not Dr Lown. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. If you live on Long Island , go see Dr Lown and you will be very glad that you did! Even if you don’t have sleep apnea, he is an outstanding PCP.
